Sweet and Spicy Bacon Wrapped Tater Tots
These gluten-free, dairy-free Sweet and Spicy Bacon Wrapped Tater Tots are quick to make and a perfect snack for any gathering! These bite-sized treats only require four ingredients — things don’t get much simpler than that!
We first made these at Tyler’s Dad’s family Christmas gathering. We wanted to bring something that was quick and easy to make and was likely to be adored by all. Tater tots were an easy candidate for easy-to-make, and it’s hard not to like something wrapped in bacon!
The brown sugar adds a nice, crispy sweetness and then a dab of siracha wraps a spicy bow on this miniature bite of heaven. We also made these as a Super Bowl snack. This is definitely a tailgate staple for us now, and we’ll be bringing it to watch games for years to come!
- Measure carefully before cutting the strips of bacon. You don’t want them too short to wrap completely around the tater tot!
- Don’t use extra thick bacon if you want the bacon to get crispy.
- Set the tater tots out to begin defrosting before you start the prep work. It will make it easier to stick the toothpicks in!
