Smoky Bacon Chili
This smoky bacon chili has won a chili cook-off. The bacon makes it extremely hard to resist. And it’s gluten- and dairy-free, too! Please note: All the ingredients below are easy to find gluten- and dairy-free, but not all brands are safe. So be sure to always check the ingredients.

  1. Fry bacon in a skillet on medium-high heat, until 80% cooked. Remove from pan.
  2. Cook ground beef in bacon fat.
  3. Chop onion, and cut bacon strips into bite-sized pieces.
  4. Add all ingredients (except the bacon and beef fat) to a medium-sized saucepan. Stir until well-mixed. Cook for a few minutes on medium-high heat, then turn to low.
  5. Let chili simmer for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Serve hot.
