Easy, Beefy Spaghetti Sauce
This easy, beefy spaghetti sauce is gluten-free, dairy-free, Whole30 friendly, and you guessed it: packed to the brim with tasty ground beef. And don’t let the word ‘spaghetti’ in the name fool you. This sauce goes great on top of zoodles, noodles, spaghetti squash, veggies — practically anything your heart desires.
In addition to tasting great, this sauce is super easy to make. You put everything together in the slow cooker in just a few minutes and then go about your day. Just set it and forget it! When you get home you’ll have a batch of healthy, beefy sauce ready to go!
The slow cooker is great for this sauce because the low heat distribution over several hours allows the flavors to mingle and mix together. You can find slow cookers in a variety of sizes to best fit your needs. We use this 6 quart oval Crock Pot, a model of the original slow cooker.
We’ve been using our spiralizer quite a bit lately, and we wanted a sauce that would add some new flavor to dinner time. We realized it had been a while since we’d had spaghetti sauce, so we started focusing on what spices and veggies we could use to build off a tomato-y base. Things really started clicking and in no time we had this wonderful, beefy sauce ready to pour over our plates of zoodles.
This sauce is so simple and such a treat to enjoy, we know we’ll be making it again soon. If you’re looking for an all-natural sauce with a delicious zip, give this Easy, Beefy Spaghetti Sauce a try!
To add an extra element to the sauce, mix in some sliced mushrooms. The extra veggies will add texture and some nice, earthy flavor. Mmmmm mmmm.
