Lite Turkey Chili
We’ve finally gotten some cooler weather here in Dallas, and it’s making us crave chili. This lite turkey chili is quite different than Tyler’s smoky bacon chili, since Lauren is a big believer that beans don’t belong in chili. But both are delicious in their own way!
We used ground turkey in this chili to make it healthier, and it’s packed with tomatoes and veggies. All the flavors meld together when it’s simmering on the stove for a blend of sweet and spice. As you can see, our favorite way to eat it is with some Fritos for an extra crunch. We also love that there’s minimal prep, and we can make it all in one pot!
Lauren loves to make this is in the summer to eat for a warm lunch in the chilly, air-conditioned office. Yes, even when it’s 100 degrees out! But there’s just something about fall that makes chili extra tasty.
